The third time this week, a legal action was filed against the government in response to the recently announced firearms ban, this time by JR Cox, who owns Target Sports Canada and The Shooting Edge in Toronto and Calgary.
"Unlike the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, he is not launching a Section 7 Charter challenge. The Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights is planning on arguing that the ban is depriving people of their right to liberty and property, 'on fundamentally irrational grounds.'"
